The sessionid cookie is marked HttpOnly, so it cannot be read by JavaScript. Both of our cookies are marked Secure (sent only over HTTPS) and SameSite=Lax (not sent on cross-site requests). Neither contains your name, email, or password — sessionid is a random identifier that points to session data held on our server.
Essential cookies — sessionid and csrftoken — are required for the Service to function (signing in, keeping your account secure) and cannot be disabled. Any non-essential cookies we introduce in future (for example, analytics) will be off by default and only activate if you switch them on.
